History of PawleyFarm

Susan Pawley is a special education teacher who has drawn and painted all of her life. She started working with photography in order to improve her paintings. Reaction to the photographs was overwhelmingly positive and when a local retailer spotted the framed prints, a business was born. Presently, 7 area retailers carry PawleyFarm artwork.

Susan's agricultural roots are strong, growing up on a small farm in northeastern Oregon raising sheep and cattle and being involved in 4-H and FFA. After high school, Susan worked for an outfitter in Wyoming for many years while helping out on her husband's family's farm. Now living back in Northeastern Oregon, Susan's children are following in the family footsteps, involved in FFA and learning work ethic that comes from farm chores and spending all day in a tractor. PawleyFarm images are authentic, a reflection of these rural family values.
