Set of four different PawleyFarm images printed on white matte note cards. Includes envelopes.

Artwork depicts PawleyFarm hens, egg, and chicks, evoking the eternal question, which came first - the chicken or the egg? The Barred Rock hens are Nettie and Bettie and the beautiful brown egg is Nettie's own production. Black Mamma hatched her chicks in the barn and I penned her up to keep her and the chicks safe, but she was miserable in the pen and constantly wanting to take her babies out to scratch for bugs and run through the grass. I finally gave in and she was so delighted, clucking and scratching for her little ones as she taught them the ways of the barnyard. Safety is overrated she seemed to say with each tasty bug unearthed.
